Summertime Magic Açaí Bowl

Lately, I've been kinda obsessed with Açai bowls. They're fun to make, healthy, and absolutely delicious, why wouldn't I be!? I had so much fun making my Sweetheart Açai Bowl recipe, so I'm making a new one!! I love to experiment by pairing different fruits together to see which ones make the ultimate power duo. I never used Blackberries in my Açai bowl recipes before and I am so happy that I finally have because it takes the sweetness and freshness up to a WHOLE other level. The name says it all: this recipe tastes exactly like summertime but in a bowl.

The ingredients which make this Summertime Magic Açaí Bowl purely magic to the tastebuds...
  • Frozen Blackberries- These berries are without question one of my favorite summer fruits to snack on while I'm relaxing on the beach! Although they may look tiny, they pack a mean punch of sweetness. Also, these little guys are filled with health benefits. Click here to read more about their nutrition advantages!
  • Frozen Açaí packet
  • Frozen Blueberries- Blueberries pair amazingly with Blackberries!!! The subtle taste of the blueberries combined with the sweet taste of the blackberries is that power duo I have been searching for!
  • Frozen Banana- The creaminess from the banana balances out the sweetness.
  • Yogurt- Makes this Açaí Bowl more rich and creamy. I use Dannon Light & Fit Non-Fat Vanilla Original Greek Yogurt which I highly recommend in this recipe but any yogurt will taste amazing in this bowl!
Toppings...

Personally, I like to top my Açaí Bowl with fruits that are already in the recipe. So, I topped my bowl with blueberries, blackberries, banana slices, and chia seeds. However, get creative with your toppings!!! Here are some suggestions...
  • More fruit: Strawberries, Kiwi, Mango, Peaches, Dates, Grapefruit, Papaya, Pomegranate, etc.
  • Chocolate
  • Nuts
  • Rolled-Oats
  • Coconut Flakes, Cocoa Nibs, etc.
  • Granola
  • Peanut butter, Almond Butter, etc.
  • Honey

See, I told you it's easy to make!
