I LOVE Smoothies! You can put anything you desire into a blender and 10 seconds later your sipping on a healthy and refreshing drink. Not to mention, they keep you full until lunchtime which is great for a busy day!
This Banana Nut Smoothie is protein-packed, creamy, and full of toasty and nutty flavors. I bet you will drink this in 3 minutes tops, trust me.
What is in this Banana Nut Smoothie...
The ingredients in this smoothie recipe are for sure already in your house somewhere so no need to make a quick stop at the supermarket.
- Bananas
- Milk- I use Vanilla Almond Milk for a more creamy texture which I highly recommend but you can use any type of milk!
- Yogurt- Any good smoothie includes yogurt in it. I always use Greek yogurt but feel free to experiment with other types! I don't recommend using flavored yogurts so I would stick with plain or vanilla.
- Sunflower Seeds- This ingredient takes this Banana Nut Smoothie up so many levels. If you do not have sunflower seeds you can always use almonds, walnuts, or any other type of nut but definitely use sunflower seeds if you have them!
- Peanut Butter- What is a banana smoothie without a little PB?!
- Pinch of salt
Stay connected!
